Frozen in time Leaders
Just how many times one feels that inspite of you grown intellectually and skillwise, you are the same ' nut' in the eyes of your friends, peers and where it matters the most - in the eyes of your boss. You may have acquired a new degree, added qualification and probably a new wardrobe, people just refuse to notice it.This happens at home too, your parents feel you are still the careless soul who can not tie his shoelaces. The same misrule applies to relationships too where nobody likes to believe that you have become better with time ( you missed only one birthday, oops !) until you really grow out of each other. best option. my advice.
The other day I met a colleague of my ex company who could not believe that I handle some responsibility and given some interviews in media. he did notice my lack of manhood since ' no moustache' entertained him no end.Thank God, something gets noticed although for wrong reasons.
Coming to the main point, how is it that the guy who 'still needs improvement' for next slot gets hired for 3 positions above in some other company as those guys do not have ' frozen in time' sysndrome and only notice top qualities in few interviews. This , probably , has to do something in working longer with 'fault only street' and any improvement which one feels inside only works in 'next street'.
So, donot freeze with 'frozen in time' leaders rather make a 'new street' or join your 'kind of street'.

To be likeable or hated
what do you think of people who had almost no quailty of leadership as prescribed in books
yet created amazing success stories and many followers?
I think more than anything else it is 'perceived belief 'that they can make it happen'.
sometimes it is a strong personality which has low humility but seen as a person who wud brook no nonsense while chasing the big goal.
Many people confuse 'likeability' with 'doability'factor in a person.A coach
of a team however liked by the team, is of no use if he can not make team practise hard and ensures victory(hated for tough discipline.)
so,some ruthlessness and drive becessary?
